Hello Intuitive Friends!
I hope you’re having a lovely week! A huge welcome to all of the new subscribers who found me from my Enlightened Empaths episode. I’m so happy to have you join our dreamy little community!
As we just celebrated Mother’s Day here in the US, I’d like to send warm wishes to all of the mothers and those who take on the role of mothering in some form. What a tremendous gift and teacher we have in the nurturance of the Great Mother. I’ve always found comfort in the creativity and protection of her solace. Through her compassion we also learn to mother ourselves, and work in harmony with this powerful energy as spiritual beings.
It is no small feat to carry yourself, not to mention others on this winding journey of life. So if you’re a mother or mother figure in someone’s life, thank you for all you do. You are seen and loved.
Trusting in Spirit…
“How do I know it’s Spirit?” This is one of the most common questions that people have when they’re starting to develop their intuitive abilities. If it’s all in your head, how do you know what’s you, and what’s the Divine? If you’re a medium, how can you discern between your imagination and that of another spirit?
The best answer I have is to develop trust, and that simply takes time and practice. Learn to trust that Spirit will send through what is meant to come through. Learn to trust in yourself and your own inner knowing. Learn to trust what you feel. You will find that your feelings are what will be your best validations, and that is what is what makes us who we are – energy and emotion.
Within ourselves is where the real work is too. As an intuitive it is my soul’s mission to give others care and the comfort of knowing we are never truly alone in Spirit. While any validation from Spirit is wonderful, and it can be exhilarating to receive to those confirmations, beyond the awe there is also healing and an immense, endless love. There lies the true purpose of these Divine connections. Let validation verify your findings, but we must go deeper within ourselves to develop the trust and strength we need to truly grow in Spirit.

Hummingbird Symbolism…
Hummingbirds are a well-known symbol within the spiritual realm as spiritual messengers. I would bet almost every highly sensitive person has had some sort of experience or connection to a hummingbird on their journey.
I have a particular ancestor that I associate hummingbirds with. I also find that Spirit loves to send a hummingbird for any joyful reason too. Their resilience, beauty, and energy make them memorable companions to work with.
The way hummingbirds appear to seamlessly glide through the air is a physical manifestation of their divine connection to the energy flowing through and with them. They are such delightful creatures in both their colorful appearance and personality that reminds us to stop and enjoy the sweetness of life when we can. They also help us to release negativity and enjoy the freedom of being a beautiful, joyful soul.
