Chronicles of a Dreamworker Newsletter, v.63 – Insights for Intuitive Living
Welcome Dreamers!
“You can’t always be the flame. The flame is seen but it’s short-lived. Sometimes you must be the ash that nourishes the dirt and the trees, or the ember softly glowing warm, always ready to strike a spark. We must embrace being all parts of the fire in life.”
This thought came to me during a recent meditative journey. I had asked how to let go of my need for visibility and being seen as I grow my intuitive gifts and business. I originally started out by asking how to bring in more clients, and I received that I wasn’t able to fully speak my truth because of this need for visibility. I’m grateful to have received guidance on exactly what I needed to focus on to help make that happen.
Sometimes it’s not about being the brightest and most visible – the ember holds the heat and provides a foundation on which the fire to burn. The ash falls away to return to the dirt and starts the cycle of life over again. Every part of the fire is necessary for it to burn, not just what we can see.
As an intuitive guide this feels like an especially important message for me to receive. Being a guide often means being the ember in the Divine purpose, providing the roots and resources someone else may need to spark their own flame. There is purpose in the quiet consistency.
“Be the ember,” has been my mantra since that journey. I am focused on being the steady warmth and strength faith requires us to have, especially when it comes to sharing that faith with others. On the first day of using it I of course looked for opportunities to be the ember, and naturally my first opportunity was with my children.
We were riding home from school as they asked me about my work. I told them in age appropriate terms how I helped families reconnect with loved ones, how I received guidance from the Holy Spirit and everything I do is to serve that Divine purpose. I didn’t tell them about my mantra, but when we got home later that evening they turned on one of our favorite movies, Elemental. The main characters name? Ember.
So be the ember. Be the ash, be the flame, be whatever Spirit calls you to be. All are needed to bring forth the fire of life. We must stay present and ready to help spark the Divine light within us all.

In our New Moon Intention Circle we work with the generative energies of each new moon to envision our goals and set intentions for new beginnings. Participants will learn more on how to make plans with each new moon, and are encouraged to bring their sun sign and rising sign information for more personalized recommendations.
We’ll also discuss and write observations from a moon-focused Oracle deck pull, as well as unique journal questions for each New Moon and it’s corresponding sign. Stay tuned, link to come.
