September Tarot/Oracle Card Circle at bliss…

We had a fabulous time at our September card circle at bliss Spiritual Co-op! Thankfully I remembered to take ONE photo this time beforehand, but rest assured we had so much fun during our two-hour extended session!

We then rounded out the afternoon with readings Thank you to all who came out, be sure to save the date for our next tarot/oracle circle on Oct. 3! *Please note: I most likely will be changing the time to 10 a.m. for this Oct. 3 circle only!

I always like to draw a card before leading a circle to help set the tone. This weekend’s was New Moon in Leo – Confidence is your key to success. After an amazing two-hour session I can say it definitely felt great to lead with confidence!

Dreams? Leaping Lizards!

Sometimes the imagery in our dreams can be so silly that we immediately dismiss it, but have you ever thought that maybe Spirit was using humor or absurdity to get our attention, perhaps to help you focus on something important?

I usually have more intuitive dreams around important personal dates, such as my birthday. This year was no exception and I couldn’t miss the message that was put in my face.

What was this powerful dream about? Well, I dreamt animal green lizard fell right on my face. I immediately jumped up in bed awake with a squeal then a laugh. I had been so shocked by this harmless little thing in a dream – but it felt so real I could feel it’s little feet on my cheeks! I took note of the dream and felt an intuitive reminder to look up the meaning later.

I was not surprised but pleasantly intrigued to find that the meaning of this particular dream symbolism was represented in cultures the world over. The most obvious interpretation of a dream of a lizard falling on your face could mean that an unexpected surprise would be coming your way. It could also represent feelings of stress or vulnerability.

In other representations it could be a warning or a direct “heads up” to possible deceit or hidden/unexpected conflicts surrounding you. In some it’s the opposite – a lizard falling on you could be a wonderful sign of potential gains in one’s life!

Even details like the color of the lizard or where it falls on your face can have different meanings. I personally kept an eye out for any unexpected surprises or instances where I might  have felt vulnerable. I do recall it being an incredibly busy period of my life where any surprises would’ve required some nimble adapting on my end, however I will also try to find a way to laugh through it, that’s for sure.

Messages like these are one of the many reasons why I find the study of our dreams so captivating. I also believe they can reveal so much about our subconscious that we are just too busy or distracted to deal with awake. I sincerely appreciated this message and do feel like it helped me get through the time surrounding it with more ease. It helped me to be prepared for the unexpected, and to remember that things don’t always have to be so serious – life can actually be funny sometimes!

Eastern Red Cedar Tree…

I had lots of messages coming during the eclipse season, one in particular for a friend in which their ancestors showed me a large Eastern Red Cedar Tree. I love working with Cedar as an artist, and enjoyed finding the deep connection that the indigenous ancestors associate with the tree spiritually.

Eastern Red Cedar has much abundance to offer us. It is used for purification, grounding and protection in spiritual practices. Eastern Red Cedar wood can represent longevity and resilience as a rot-resistant material that makes it great for outdoor use. It also smells lovely and keeps it’s green shrub-like leave all year round. This is an excellent plant to add to your garden, or material to incorporate into your daily routine or spiritual practice.
