Chronicles of a Dreamworker Newsletter, v.55 – Insights for Intuitive Living
Hello Dreamers!
How are we all feeling post-eclipse season? Technically we are still within the window of influence, but I am already feeling SO much more focused. This has been one of the more tumultuous eclipse seasons for me energy-wise. It’s also interesting to talk to folks who didn’t feel as impacted by these eclipses this time around. How did they fall for you? Any big changes or unexpected exits in your life?
It goes without saying that this eclipse season brought a tremendous amount of transition. The loss of Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and several other incredible, kind-hearted entertainers has certainly left a void in our hearts. The Universe is all about balance though, so I feel comforted by the fact that they too are now among the stars. They also created space for someone new and beautiful to take their own place now – I hope they are inspired by the lessons of those loving hearts that came before.
It is also important to remember that those souls are now on the other side and are no longer suffering, but are now even more powerful and capable of helping in Spirit than they were in the living realm. The real work is up to us now though. It is our responsibility to carry the hope and never give up on creating a more loving and compassionate world.
Whatever eclipse season may have illuminated or eclipsed out from your life, I hope that you feel the generative energy of this transitional time and rest assured knowing that we are moving toward a more heart-centered, authentic way of being. It is never easy, but real growth and real love are always worth the effort.
For me personally, the eclipse brought so much energy and changes, and yes, the familiar restless sleep! I felt incredibly tuned into Spirit but also disconnected from the physical world in the days leading up to August 27, the day of the eclipse, and also an important day for a familiar presence in my mediumship journey…
A Visit to Mepkin Abbey…
I needed some grounding, so I made a very quick visit to Mepkin Abbey, a nearby monastery and sanctuary of peace and reconciliation located just outside of Moncks Corner, SC. This former plantation site and home of the Laurens family has become a solemn and holy place of reflection and ease, and has become one of my most favorite places on earth.
I also stopped by to pay my respects to John Laurens as it was the day of his passing, August 27. Before I left the burial ground I turned and said a short prayer. As I finished the clouds opened up and the sun shone down across the headstones. I then sat on a bench and enjoyed the late summer breeze blowing over the Cooper River.
I can always feel the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounding me when I am at Mepkin. From it’s indigenous ancestors to my humble prayers today, Mepkin Abbey is a special place that is filled with the power of love, loss, and the light of the truth that we are all one in Spirit. This was an excellent place to find physical grounding with nature as well as spiritual during the culmination of a very active eclipse season.
