Finding Focus on Your Intuitive Journey…

You feel the call from deep within. You know you contain something special, something wonderful that is demanding to be shared. But what it is, and how you’ll share it, you can’t quite explain yet.

So you get frustrated. You cry. You drown your sorrows in unhelpful distractions. You make bad art and bad tweets. You throw everything at the wall until something sticks.

This was me at the beginning of my journey. I was an artist and writer fresh out of the College of Charleston. I married an incredible furniture maker who saw my raw passion and helped me learn how to slow down and listen to what my voice inside was desperately trying to say.

From there I followed the simplicity of natural inspirations. I found myself captivated by the curl of a wood shaving, or the draping of Spanish moss on a Cypress branch. I began to understand every shape, texture and color and communicate in our own special language. My love for abstraction and liminal spaces grew. I turned the reflections inward and began documenting my journey through a series of self portraits and collages.

At the time my relationship with Spirit really began to grow. The more I focused on understanding myself, the more everything made sense. Journaling, meditation, and even learning the basics of tarot and oracle decks began to reveal and confirm all of the magical and mysterious things I had felt within all of my life.

It took a great amount of time and many amazing side quests that I know now were necessary detours in creating the map of my life. The constant threads in all of my multidimensional experiences were my love for Spirit, my creativity, and my passion for service. I have tried as many different things as I can to see what works best for me, and I’m delighted to know that the journey of exploring and connecting with Spirit will never end.

For those that feel lost, stuck, or aren’t sure where to begin, start small. Start with you. Start journaling and figuring out not only what speaks to you, but what your voice has to say. Keep introducing things one at a time. There are so many modalities to choose from, but by staying focused on one at a time you can really embrace what that part of your practice may become for you.

Don’t lose heart, don’t lose patience. Have faith that building trust and understanding takes time, and that every step of the journey is necessary.

Triple Infinity Symbolism…

I did not have much awareness of the triple infinity symbolism until it came to me in a meditation recently. I was first shown a large doorway with light beaming through it, then the symbol with the center circle larger than the other two. I then paid an unexpected visit to the Akashic records.

After my session I looked up the meaning of the triple infinity symbol. It’s representation of unity, integration, and eternal connection were very resonate with what I was focusing on at the moment.

The triple infinity symbol can also represent time as past-present-future, or even life cycles as in birth-death-rebirth. The representation of The Trinity is often observed in different contexts such as the Maiden-Mother-Crone in Wiccan, and also The Holy Trinity of the Father-Son-Holy Spirit in Christian religions. The symbol is also represented in Celtic traditions, with ancient Triquetra or Trinity Knot.

As always it’s important to note the context in which these symbols appear and what your personal relationship to them could mean. Whether it comes to you in a meditation, dream, or a literal street sign, Spirit is always reaching out to us and our Guides are trying their best to get our attention in ways that they know will work. If you think it’s a just a coincidence, or if something that you’d normally look over suddenly stands out, take note! Spirit may have a message for you.
