Let’s Learn Tarot – Justice

Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series

I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!

This week’s card is Justice.

The Justice card seeks to bring just that – justice, balance, and truth. The physical imagery of the card is a striking one. The woman sits on her throne in a red robe to evoke power. The sword in her right hand points upward to represent logic, and the scales in her left hand are for intuition. Both are needed in order to bring balance and order.

The Justice card can directly relate to legal matters or the signing of contracts. It can also represent disputes, with all energies focused on restoring balance. The Justice card also wants us to speak our truth while trusting our instinct. If you have been a victim of an injustice this card will help you make the right decisions to bring balance back to your life.

The Justice card could also appear when you are out of balance physically, emotionally, or spiritually, and need to realign within. It also emphasizes integrity and shows us how to move forward without compromising it. If a truth has been hidden the Justice card will bring it to light. This could also represent someone around you, so when it comes time to sign a document or partner with a collaborator be sure to read the fine print. Reversed this card can represent injustice or accusations.

Overall the Justice card wants us to embrace our integrity to help us restore balance to our lives. It reminds us to have the courage to move forward, release the past, and know that bringing ourselves back into spiritual alignment will help our lives flow with ease.
