Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series

I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!
This week’s card is Wheel of Fortune.
The Wheel of Fortune card represents the wheel of life that keeps moving and keeps our lives and fortunes changing. The card itself is a yellow wheel set against a blue backdrop. Four signs of the zodiac surround it, each representing the elements of earth, water, air and fire. Anubis, the Egyptian god of mummification and the afterlife and a snake rest on either side.
The Wheel of Fortune card appearing usually indicates a change of events for the better. It’s associated with luck and money, but can influence any of the aspects of our lives, as represented by the elements of life that surround it. When drawn with other cards, the surrounding cards can help indicate whether this is a change of good fortune or not. Reversed this card can represent bad luck or failure.
The Wheel of Fortune also reminds us to step out of comfort zone and to trust our instincts. You may even feel a sense of clarity after a period of confusion or uncertainty when this card appears. It reminds us to clear out the things no longer serving us in our lives and to make room for a wonderful gift or even a potential windfall to appear.
Overall the Wheel of Fortune indicates that events are coming full circle. Times change and more control is settling in if you feel like your world has been spinning too fast. Karmic cycles are completing and it’s a great time to manifest and put our hearts and efforts toward what we want. We must make room for the abundance we want to attract and the Wheel of Fortune helps keep our lives moving forwards.
