Week of September 28, 2026
Needless to say there is a lot of energy moving around this week. As we come down from the fiery Full Moon in Aries that we are now finding ways to use that collective anger, and we have an opportunity to really do something powerful here as we approach a justice-focused New Moon in Libra on October 10.
This week the Third Quarter Moon shows that we are needing to release the frustrations and negativity that has been thrust upon us these past few weeks. We can only take so much and this is a time we’ve spent reevaluating where we’re at and where we want to go. This is a precarious time for our world and particularly women – trust will be required to move forward from this but every day women are given more and more reason not to trust the patriarchal systems that have controlled our society for too long. We should absolutely trust in ourselves and know that the story isn’t finished yet.
Which brings us to our next card and an actionable step we can take: a very favorable Mutable Moon. As this card states nothing is yet set in stone, so if you’re unhappy with the way things are, you’re in an amazing position to make a change. Collectively this energy can also feel unstable as things are literally moving into their new places. For those of us that are looking to build a better world, this is a wonderful time to put a plan to make a difference in motion.
Lastly, we are moving into the period where we must focus on the work. Sometimes it may feel like we’re not making progress, but that just means things are still taking shape. The Waxing Crescent Moon very much has a “Let’s get to it!” Type of energy and that is what we need right now in order to move towards creating the world we want to live in. Don’t give up and stay focused on moving towards what you want.
Overall this reading is one of action, change, and opportunity. It evokes hard work and it’s colors are deep – the work won’t be easy but it is necessary in order to create the foundation we need in order to build a more loving world upon.
