Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series

I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!
This week’s card is Strength.
The Strength card is such a great card to receive as it reminds us of the courage and discipline we all have within. I adore the imagery of this card. It depicts a woman fearlessly holding open the mouth of a lion as she gazes down at it adoringly. The woman wears a long white robe representing innocence and has an infinity symbol over head, reminiscent of a halo. The woman and the lion are standing on lush green grounds in front of a large mountain, in the background is a golden yellow sky, representing preparation for challenges ahead amidst energies of opportunity, wealth and excitement.
The Strength card has a very generative energy. That can be a welcome relief as this card can appear as we face difficult challenges in our lives. This card reminds us to bring our reactions to these challenges into balance as we don’t want to be too aggressive, nor too passive. It encourages us to release anger and fear. Reversed this card can represent weakness or overwhelm.
The Strength card is a feminine card that highlights compassion and kindness. You may have had to provide care for someone else when this card appears. This card reminds us to not worry and to believe in ourselves, and that we have everything we need within ourselves to help make our dreams a reality. It encourages to take small, disciplined steps every day, rather than to seek immediate changes.
You should also feel a sense of achievement when the strength card comes up. It validates that you know your own worth regardless of who is watching, but rest assured that you are indeed being admired for all that you do.
Overall the Strength card asks us to call on our own inner strength to find balance. It’s time to face challenges head-on and believe in yourself. You have everything you need within you to create the life you dream of.
