Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series

I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!
This week’s card is The Chariot.
When I see The Chariot I see choices. The visual imagery of the card shows a powerful driver with two untethered sphinxes. This shows us that we are in control of our destiny and have the free will to decide where we want to go.
The Chariot can represent a period of uncertainty, or when things may be unknown. Know that this is a karmic lesson, but of minor disruption – unless you manage to blow it out of proportion. Yea, don’t do that. The Chariot reminds us to handle whatever comes up now with calm and swiftness, not complete emotional upheaval. Rest assured that this card also represents a positive outcome for whatever you’re asking about. You should feel a sense of achievement once you reach the finish line.
The card can also represent physical movement, such as a move or a new job. Transitions aren’t always the easiest, but The Chariot signals that you will get there in the end.
There is a feeling of the anticipation of change happening with this card. Reversed it can signal a feeling of being out of control, or represent conflict. It’s important that you remember that you have choices. It’s time to take control of the situation and your destiny. You are more powerful than you think.
It’s also important not to get caught in fear or situations or decisions that don’t feel aligned with you. Remember that you have the power to say no and that you don’t have to do anything that doesn’t feel right for you.
Overall The Chariot is here to remind us of our own strength and the power of our intuition. Our intuition will not let us down. Once you begin to trust it you’ll realize that whatever choices you make can happen, and more importantly – that they’re the right choices for you. It might not always be easy, but it’s important that we embrace stepping out of our comfort zone and know that it will be worth it in the end.
