Let’s Learn Tarot – The Emperor

Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series

I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!

This week’s card is The Emperor.

The energy of The Emperor is what you’d expect of one – he represents authority, structure and advice. His card features the color red as it’s main focus, invoking action. He also doesn’t have a lot of items around him, and he wears armor underneath his red robe, suggesting a strength that speaks for itself.

The Emperor often represents a male figure we’d look to for guidance. He can help us organize our thoughts, come up with a plan of action, and help balance our priorities. This card wants to remind us of our own strengths, and to stand firm in our convictions.

This card also suggests that it’s time to clear out anything that does not serve you on all levels in order to help bring stability to your life. This include emotions, physical clutter, or other distractions. Don’t overthink it, but move with assertion and trust that the advice you receive now will help bring stability to your life.

Overall The Emperor is a solid leader that you can trust to help you get organized so you can move with confidence. Reversed it can represents a lack of judgment or direction.

Through his guidance The Emperor remind us of our power and that we should be assertive with our strengths. When you receive this card it’s a sign to stay true to your inner self and move with confidence.
