Chronicles of a Dreamworker Series
I love my intuitive work with cards, and I’ve recently felt the call to learn more about tarot. I’ve brought out my deck, borrowed Tarot Made Easy by Kim Arnold from the bliss co-op library, and am going to study a card every day. I would also love to discuss these more with others, so I’ll share one card a week and we can chat about them here!
This week’s card is The Magician.
I love the initiative energy of The Magician card. The Magician represents action and affirmation that you have all that you need to make your dreams come true. I especially appreciate the imagery of the card with the seeker looking over the tools on the table, and literally seeing that all is ready for their journey. The yellow background helps generate a feeling of excitement and opportunity.
The Magician can be validating for those looking to make a decision or a change in their lives. It’s great energy for starting new relationships, new careers or launching new ideas. It also reminds us to stay focused on our goals, and affirms that the timing is right for whatever we are asking about.
The Magician can also represent trickster energy, so it’s important to be careful of who you involve in your exciting new ideas. Reversed it can represent insecurity or control.
Overall, The Magician reminds us that we have everything we need to move forward with making our dreams a reality. It feels like a wonderful sign to receive for whatever it is we’re asking about or seeking to manifest. The Magician shows us that we all have the power within each of us to create the life and opportunities we desire. A powerful and empowering card!
