Welcome Home, Dreamworker

Chronicles of a Dreamworker Newsletter, v.32

I’m coming to consciousness and my vision returns. Out of the darkness I look down to see I’m standing over a patient lying on a gurney. We’re in a room full of medical equipment and other patients. I’m wearing scrubs and gloves. People are rushing around the room and machines are beeping and blaring.

I then remember that I’m not a doctor, nor a nurse. What am I doing here?

“You’re in-between,” I heard myself say.

I look up to see a doctor furiously working on the crashing patient and there are two others people helping. The three of us headed towards the door yelling responses back to the doctor as he gives instructions. I had the urge to say something and I didn’t understand why, but I knew I needed to say it, so I trusted in Spirit in that moment.

“Your ties are ready!” I holler to the doctor.

“How many does he have?!” He shouts back to me.

I instinctively run down a hallway to another series of medical bays. From behind the curtains I see the feet of four patients from behind the curtains, all in distress with more staff running around them as well.

“Four! He has four!” I say back, and the door to the room swings closed. I turn back to hallway and look helplessly at the four souls in front of me. I see a few people rushing around them, doing all they can to care for them. I wish I could help them all but there is nothing more that I can do now. Any knowledge of what I could contribute seemed to be slipping away as I became more lucid.

It was time to go. I walk back down the hallway and take a right turn. I quickly move down a second hallway and I hear the beeps and alarms start to fade.

Then what’s ahead of me fades in. I hear doctors and rushing again, but this is different. Everyone is tense, but calm. I understand then that someone is being born on this end of the hallway.

I pause and reflect for a brief moment. I feel the momentum of the transitions happening and am almost overwhelmed by the power of it all.

I see a thick wooden door ahead. I go to open it, but it’s locked, too heavy for me to move. I feel my physical energy change and become lighter, and I myself move through the door. I materialize on the other side in another long sterile hallway.

“I’ve got to get back,” I say to myself. I look around. The memories of what just happened begin to fade away and I remember I need to return home. Home…

I turn to the right and begin walking the hallway. I feel more memories return. A life filled with light, love, and three precious souls that I adore. My heart aches. I remember. Every step I take more and more of my waking life pours back in, as what I just experienced in those hallways fades further and further away.

My pace quickens and I turn a corner to see an open room with two glass doors with sunshine beaming through them.

“Momma!” I hear the familiar little voices echo. I start to run towards the doors as the room fills with light.

I open my eyes and it’s morning. I’m in bed and my children quietly play in the other room.

Welcome home, Dreamworker.

TAP Collective: When History Calls: William Henry Drayton

I had the opportunity to contribute an article to the March issue of the TAP Collective publication featuring moving mediumship connection with the revolutionary Charlestonian William Henry Drayton. There are several great articles in this month’s issue from other intuitives too, as well as a practitioner resource guide. I’m grateful to be a part of such an amazing community and appreciate all of the support!

Magnolia…

I have fond memories of growing up in upstate South Carolina and climbing our neighbor’s old Magnolia tree. We had moved from Texas where all my friends, soccer teams, school and life had been. Hiding out in the Magnolia made me feel like I was in a safe, special place away from the chaos of life changes.

I still treasure the strength and beauty of the Magnolia and I’m not alone – cultures all over the world have revered this species and it’s flower since ancient times. Magnolia can represent perseverance, simplicity, and endurance, symbolizing it’s stability against the tests of time.

There are different colors and varieties of the Magnolia blossom that represent different meanings. According to FlowersLuxe:

White: Represents purity, perfection and stability.

Pink: Symbolizes youth, innocence, and joy.

Purple: Represents health, luck, and spiritual wisdom

As a scent Magnolia is wonderful for relaxation. It’s known for it’s mood-boosting elements, and can even help balance the mind with it’s calming, floral scent. It’s recommended to help with sleep, and for it’s anti-inflammatory properties with lots of antioxidants. Use it in your oil diffuser, or topically for fragrance. You can also decorate your home with fresh Magnolia blossoms or leaves when in season. Or incorporate Magnolia decor into living spaces you’d like to bring more calm to all-year round.

Thank you for another week of exploring what happens on the other side when we close our eyes together.

Many blessings,
