Hello There Intuitive Friends,

I hope this week finds you well-rested and prepared for today’s New Moon in Pisces, which is perfect for dreaming, creativity, and new beginnings! What dream will you bring to reality this New Moon cycle?

Finding Time for the Divine

In the midst of our busy lives, how do we find time for the Divine? I asked myself this question last week as I realized the summer school break was quickly approaching.

I work from home and while I have a designated studio space it doesn’t insulate me from the sound effects in latest episode of Stranger Things or the drama that unfolds when a Barbie shoe goes missing. I also have hard boundaries in some of my spiritual practices that keep me from being able to fully express them when I have a house full of other people around. So what am I going to do for two and a half months when I do have a house full of people around all the time?

This dilemma has been weighing heavily on my mind ever since. I am already severely limited by my health challenges and am forced to flow with the rivers of chronic pain and illness every day. Throw two kids home on summer break into the mix and I might as well kiss any quiet moments for meditation good-bye. That’s not sustainable either though. My spiritual practice demands to be explored and expressed and quite frankly I don’t feel right without my morning sessions.

What is a woo-woo girl to do? Well, this morning’s meditation helped provide me some guidance. We often seek out the big moments of transcendence, transformation, of downloads and revelations in our spiritual practice. However it’s just as important that we treasure the small, precious moments as much as the big ones.

The moment when your kiddo looks at you with eyes full of love that stops you in your tracks as your rush about your day. The moment a quiet wind blows through the Spanish moss and the world seems to flow together, all at once. These spiritual moments are just as important as the bigger ones, and what’s even better is that they are all around us, all the time, just waiting for us to stop for just a breath and see them in their fullest Divine beauty.

We don’t have to search hard to find time for the Divine. It patiently waits for us as we rush about looking for something that already see us so fully, so purely. We have to make time for the Divine, and trust in our faith in order to fully feel the love and reassurance it can bring.

School may be out for summer but the learning never ends. I trust that I will find the time to find the Divine as it has found me. A good set of noise-cancelling headphones can’t hurt either.

Crystal Pairing: Rose Quartz and Fire Agate…

I love to pair crystals for my morning meditations and this pairing in particular felt very empowering! I held Rose Quartz in my left hand for the energy I’d like to call in, and the Fire Agate in my right hand for the energy I’d like to generate and share.

I picked Rose Quartz for it’s healing and compassionate properties surrounding love and emotional balance. I also picked Fire Agate for it’s ability to amplify the properties of Rose Quartz in a complimentary way, also promoting protection, security and creativity. Both stones are great for emotional healing and spiritual growth.

Use these stones when you need a boost of loving, self-confidence and want to be reminded that we are constantly being held and guided by the Universe. Use this pairing for extra strength, passion, and emotional grounding.

Affirmation…

During a recent meditation I asked Spirit what I needed to prepare for with the upcoming changes to our world. I received an image of many different types of feet walking along in front of me.

“You have to be prepared to serve all walks of life,” I received, “Remember, everyone has a seat at the table of the Universe.”

I was then shown table after table of thousands, even millions of people eating together. They were communing and enjoying each other in spirit.

We have to remember no matter how big or small we may feel, or what someone else might seem, we all have a seat at the table of the Universe, and are all deserving of it.
