Hello There Intuitive Friends,

I hope you’re having a good week so far. Starting off the week and month with a Full Moon in Leo was quite a kick, and it looks like the energies for February both in the skies and here on the ground are going to be transformative. This has helped inspired the theme of the newsletter for the week with a focusing on protecting our inner peace. Thank you again for being here, I hope you are able to find something helpful to take with you on your journey and leave the rest.

Protecting Your Peace

When every day presents new horrors it tends to fill us with fear, anger, rage, and confusion. We react to these influences on every energetic level possible, and if we’re not careful these can overtake us quite easily.

To be quite frank right now I am angry, I am scared and unsure of what the future holds for our country. I am human, these feelings are not only natural they are normal in the face of great distress, such as what we are facing now.

I also know I am determined to continue to do the work I am called here to do a spiritual being. I’ve learned how to transmute what some might perceive as “negative” emotions into fuel to power the positive work I am able to do. I learned how to do this early on in my life as a meningitis and spinal cord injury survivor. Now it happens naturally as part of my emotional processing.

Because of the sacredness and the essentiality of this transmutative work, it is also incredibly important that we protect it – and that we protect the container in which we hold these works, our own place, our own peace.

Do not – and I repeat – do not neglect the maintenance of this Divine container within you. Do not neglect the nourishment that it needs. Do not devalue yourself so that your inner peace is affected.

It is your responsibility to keep your light shining, therefore as it’s caretaker you deserve everything you may need to keep it burning bright.

Where there is darkness there is also light, and the Divine is within it all. Rest assured there is plenty of darkness out there right now, and it’s more important than ever that we make sure we bring the light of compassion and acceptance with us. It’s also more important than ever that we give these gifts to ourselves. Trust that the small steps you take to care for yourself will help keep the positive momentum going, even when you can’t see or feel it. We need to be at our best, and only we can give ourselves that opportunity.

Cacti…

Speaking from experience growing up as a child rambling around central Texas, you do not want to underestimate the power or the prickliness of the cactus! I may have fallen into a few once or twice on my adventures.

However the cactus is a beautiful and strong plant that represents so many good things – protection, persistence – much like the needles that love to embed themselves into anything with only a slight touch. They can produce stunning flowers, adapt to incredibly harsh conditions and represent the everlasting strength and protection in Spirit.

Cacti are also very affordable and low-maintenance, so they’re perfect for a beginner or someone with a busy lifestyle.
