Hello There Intuitive Friends,

I’ll get straight to it – we must build a better world, and the time is now. Fellow mystics, seekers, community builders, all of us have a role to play in the awakening that is happening across the globe right now.

I don’t have all of the answers, no one does. Instead of succumbing to despair, start with compassion. Start with compassion for yourself and for others. Seeing the beautiful complexity of the humanity in everyone is much, much easier when you let yourself feel the innate care and appreciation we should have for one another.

Every single one of us is a miracle. Every one. The fact that we are here, together, in this moment is no coincidence. Through the brilliance and everlasting love of the Divine, we have a unique opportunity to rebuild a new and better world right here, right now.

As a proud descendant of immigrants, I firmly believe in the promise of what we can be not just as a country, but as a world. No one is illegal on stolen land, and no one deserves to be ripped away from their families. No one deserves to be shot and killed for helping their neighbor. My prayers are with the families of Alex Pretti and Renee Good especially, and everyone who has been impacted by the devastating violence occurring across our country today.

Unimaginable terror and trauma are happening. However the helpers are stronger than ever, and we are ready. It’s the mission we’ve been training for our entire lives. It’s our time to help heal the world.

Let’s get to work.

What is Your Why?

Why do you embrace intuitive living? Why do you do the intuitive work that you do? Why did you open your practice to others? Why did you open a business? These are all important questions that intuitive souls ask themselves throughout their journey.

Living in the United States we are forced to work. We must bear some sort of financial fruits of our labor in order to have access to healthcare, transportation, even food. It costs to simply be in America.

This has of course has led a lot of practitioners towards opening their services to the collective. I believe every decision one makes for themselves and their practice is to be respected, whether they want to practice independently, or go on talk shows and wow the crowds with their gifts. There is room for us all.

It’s important that we check-in with ourselves throughout our journeys, though. We must ask ourselves “Why?” in order to fully embrace what our next steps should be. Are you wanting to entertain? Do you want to make money? Do you want to share stories? Do you simply just want to help others?

When it comes down to it, for me, I want to help others. I am grateful that I am able to work with both the past and present to help folks heal and share their stories. I am grateful for the gifts I’ve been given as a writer and storyteller in order to fulfill my mission as an intuitive healer. If folks are entertained, thats lovely, but ultimately I want folks to feel that glimmer of the Divine that lies within us all. I want people to know they are truly loved by the Divine, and those that help carry the light across time.

What is your why? It’s important to note that our why can and should change as we grow throughout our journey. For some of us, being our own why is enough. Doing this work to grow, heal, and expand your capacity to understand and truly love yourself is an incredible reason to do this work. It’s also unselfish to care for yourself as the Universe wants you to. If you’re wanting to care for others as well, it’s incredibly important that you do the inner work first and continuously on in order to be the best conduit for healing that you can be.

Thank you for being why this work is so worth it.

Affirmation…

Cinnamon…

Cinnamon is a staple herb for any intuitive household as it offers so many beneficial properties. Cinnamon has been highly prized for centuries since ancient Egypt and China. It was often used in religious rituals or regarded as a symbol of wealth and status and eventually spread across Europe through trade. In today’s modern times it is much more accessible and affordable. You can also easily grow your own!

Many use cinnamon in rituals for abundance and protection. I particularly love to use it in simmer pots, warms drinks, and incense. Many of us associate cinnamon with the fall and winter seasons, however it can also be used in your spring gardens to help naturally repel insects and pests.

For more on cinnamon, check out this informative essay, Cinnamon: Mystic powers of a minute ingredient published by the National Institute of Health Library of Medicine. It covers everything from the botany of cinnamon to possible health benefits it can bring to our cardiovascular system, hematological system, central nervous system, and more.
