Hello There Dear Intuitive Friends!

I hope this first week of 2026 is treating you well. I took some serious time off from my intuitive work to focus my energy on my family for the holidays. While it was much needed and lovely it feels amazing to be back!

I am excited for all of the new messages, symbols, journeys and adventures we will have in Spirit this year. I also have some new ideas for content coming down the pipeline, so stay tuned!

So many of us are on a rollercoaster of emotions right now, but its important that no matter what we encounter or endure that we hold fast to hope. The hope that things can and will get better. Because they will. It starts with us, in our own little worlds, on our own paths to the Divine. We can rewrite the story anytime we want, we just have to pick up our pencils and begin.

Intuition and Early Trauma…

Many of the people that I speak with who do spiritual or healing work say that one of their biggest motivations for doing what they do is to help others. There is much selflessness in the service work that sensitive people do, whether it’s an intuitive reading or a nurse’s comforting touch. Unfortunately for most sensitive people the journey of becoming gifted and generous healers is not an easy one. Simultaneously their suffering also provides a level of skill and understanding that most cannot attain, but are invaluable to help provide the compassion and guidance needed to be in service of others.

So many of us can attribute our first intuitive experiences to traumatic situations, myself included. Often times we are then brought to doubt the very thing that may have saved us from further harm – our intuition. This further confuses a sensitive person, particularly a child. How can we trust and find comfort in our inner voice when our inner and outer worlds are being turned upside down in opposite directions?

The greatest harm of the situation is the suffering these wonderfully sensitive souls endure. Their open hearts are often scarred shut at a young age and it creates a distance between what they see and what they know. By the time one can escape the situation, listening to their inner voice might feel impossible and downright painful even if it is what ultimately saved their lives.

In the long term, one hopes that these souls go through the process of rediscovering themselves and trusting their intuition once again. The transmutation of what has been into a new present is also a powerful generator of knowledge and experience that can greatly benefit a highly sensitive person or healer. Being able to traverse hard times and turn them into tools of learning and service instead of massive roadblocks is one of the most powerful skills that survivors can develop.

Most folks who do intuitive work ultimately do what they do to benefit the greatest good of all. We hope to provide guidance, solace, comfort, validation and reassurance to those who can hear the little voice within but aren’t sure how to hear the message clearly. Does someone have to go through traumatic times to help others in this way? Not necessarily. The generosity and mercy in Spirit to help others from suffering, pain or confusion is a powerful gift to both give and receive, no matter who you are.

Purple Butterly Symbolism…

As I settled in for my last meditation of the year on New Year’s Eve I was quickly shown a succession of images, the last being a mosaic pattern of hundreds of purple butterflies. They were fluttering on the ground, then flew away all at once.

Butterflies are known for being symbols of transformation and rebirth. The color purple has special meaning for me personally, but can also represent royalty, magic and mystery. As we enter a new year I was grateful for this wonderful confirmation of new beginnings awaiting ahead.

Do butterflies have a special meaning for you? They are probably pretty rare to spot, but could appear to you in a meditation or a dream. You can also channel the energy of the purple butterfly through jewelry, makeup, and other adornments.

Moonstone…

While on the subject of this particular New Year’s Eve meditation, I also wanted to highlight one of the stones I specifically used to help receive the energy of the Divine Feminine and new beginnings, Moonstone. I held it in my left hand with an amethyst on my right to share spiritual protection and calming energy.

Moonstone is a gorgeous stone that is associated with the energy of the Divine Feminine. Moonstone offers help with new beginnings, relieving stress and providing emotional balance. It is said to help provide calm and enhance intuition. It’s also a great stone to help connect with your own inner wisdom and creative energy.

I love working with Moonstone and find it absolutely stunning. It’s also relatively accessible and is typically available in a variety of affordable forms such tumbled pieces or jewelry.
