The summer started off with an exciting and successful Kickstarter campaign to produce the latest children’s book project I’ve contributed to, titled, Bo-Peep is My Name. I served as editor and creative consultant on the project, the book was written by Valerie L. Holmstrom, Ph.D, and illustrated by Tami Boyce.

The Kickstarter campaign to produce Bo-Peep was successfully funded in 30 days and the book was then published in July.

It was a thrill to receive such support for the project, and it felt great to work on a project that will help children and others recover from abuse or trauma.

I also had an amazing time working with Healing Species™ in Orangeburg, SC, who became our partners on the project. Healing Species™ will distribute the book to at-risk kids in South Carolina and beyond through their compassion education & violence prevention classroom program. Proceeds from sales of Bo-Peep are also contributed towards Healing Species™ educational and animal rescue programs.

The book is now available in paperback on Amazon and will be available in ebook format soon. Thank you for your continued support of this important project, and my mission to create work that makes a difference.
